Young Dr Shorkinghorn (Wenham) is on the verge of discovering the
key to the ageing manage and needs affluence to finish his do one’s daily dozen.
Grace Michael (Mitchell) of the Decorate Institution could be the
source of the flush, but when he arrives at the land for the
weekend to discuss his work, he finds that his ex-fiancee, Kate
(O’Connor), is after the same funding – with the unchanging
project. But that is the least of his problems, as he meets
Grace’s pacify, Godfrey Usher (Rush), the country’s
Treasurer and closet Satanist. He and Kate are competing –
and notwithstanding brought together – by the queer, terrifying antics of
their hosts. It’s the weekend from censure. They buy their
money – but at what bonus?
